The peacock is the national bird of India. it is a colourful and very beautiful bird. peacock have a beautiful long shining, dark blue neck. they are mixed with green, blue, yellow and Golden colours. The Female Peacock is called a peahen. the peahen is not so attractive, it is smaller than peacock in shape. when the sky is overcast in the rainy season, the peacocks feel very happy. It dances in rainy season. the peacock eats fruits, grains, seeds, insects and worms etc. it is a great enemy of snakes. peacock has been a source of inspiration for poets, painters and others artist since time immemorial.
